Terms of Service
The terms on which we run this website, sell and service equipment, and provide our internal staff applications.
Last updated: 29 August 2026. These terms cover mahalaxmi.astrasoft.info, our sales and service work, and the internal Mahalaxmi Staff and Mahalaxmi Admin Android applications.
Who we are

1. This website
You are welcome to browse this site, and to contact us through it. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to send anything unlawful.
The Mahalaxmi Enterprises name and logo belong to us. Brand names and trademarks mentioned on this site — manufacturers whose products we supply and service — belong to their respective owners, and are named only to describe what we sell and repair.
Information on this site is not an offer
We keep the pages accurate, but product ranges, specifications and availability change constantly. Nothing on this website is a binding offer to sell at a stated price. Prices, availability and specifications are confirmed when we give you a quotation, and a sale is formed only when we accept your order.
Enquiries
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or reserve stock. It starts a conversation. The enquiry form opens WhatsApp on your own device and you send the message yourself — see our Privacy Policy for what that means.
2. Repair and service work
Intake and the job record
When you leave equipment with us we record it against your name and mobile number and give it a job number. Please keep that number — it is how we find your job, and how we confirm at handover that we are returning equipment to its owner.
Diagnosis and estimates
Some faults can only be found by opening the equipment up. Where we quote you before diagnosis, that figure is an estimate and not a fixed price. We will tell you before carrying out work that costs more than you have approved. If you decline the estimate, your equipment is returned to you; any diagnosis charge agreed at intake still applies.
Parts
Replaced parts may be retained or disposed of by us unless you ask for them back at the time the work is approved. Where a genuine part is unavailable we will tell you before fitting an equivalent.
Your data
Please back up anything irreplaceable before handing equipment to us. Equipment brought in because it is already failing may fail completely during diagnosis or repair. We take care with your data and access it only as far as the repair requires, but we cannot be responsible for the loss of data that was not backed up — particularly on a drive that was already faulty when it reached us. Data recovery, where we offer it, is a separate service with its own terms and no guaranteed outcome.
Collection
We will tell you when your equipment is ready. Please collect it promptly. Equipment left uncollected for a long period takes up space that we do not have and can no longer be kept indefinitely; if a job remains uncollected we will attempt to contact you on the number you gave us before taking any further step. Any storage or disposal terms will be as stated to you at intake or on your job sheet.
3. Warranty
Products we sell carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, for the period and on the terms that manufacturer sets. We will help you make a warranty claim, but the warranty itself is given by the manufacturer, not by us.
Repair work we carry out is warranted for the period stated on your job sheet or invoice, and covers the specific fault repaired and the parts we fitted. It does not cover a new or unrelated fault, physical damage, liquid damage, power surges, or work subsequently done by somebody else.
Installation work — CCTV, networking, power backup — is warranted on the terms given in that installation’s quotation. Annual maintenance contracts are governed by the AMC agreement signed for them.
4. The staff applications
Mahalaxmi Staff and Mahalaxmi Admin are internal tools for our own employees. They are not offered to the public and are not distributed through the Play Store.
If you are an authorised employee, then by using them you agree that:
- your access is granted for your work and may be withdrawn at any time, and immediately when you leave;
- your account and registered device are yours alone — you must not share them, and you must report a lost handset at once;
- customer information in the applications is confidential and may be used only for the shop’s work, never copied, shared or taken elsewhere;
- your actions in the applications are recorded, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Attempting to sign in without authorisation, or to circumvent the applications’ controls, is not permitted.
5. Liability
We do our work with reasonable skill and care, and we stand behind it. What we cannot accept is liability for indirect or consequential loss — lost business, lost profits, or lost data that was not backed up. Except where the law does not permit us to limit it, our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other Indian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Barmer, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top. The terms that apply to a particular job are those in force when we accepted it.
